The process of creating works of art is just as enjoyable and important to me as the final product. I’m always learning and growing through the process of creating watercolors and pastels. The watercolor medium has been a favorite since I was very young, and I have taken many classes throughout the years. Because art has always been a deep interest, I received a masters in art history, worked in two art museums, served as the director of two arts councils, and taught art in an elementary school in New Mexico. In Moab, I have been teaching in a regular classroom (currently third grade) and try to incorporate art into the curriculum when I can. I feel so fortunate to be in such a beautiful place, where there are so many amazing subjects so close at hand.
