Tread Lightly by Nancye Culbreath
I continue to explore Bears Ears National Monument in southeastern Utah. It is surrounded by dramatic deep sandstone canyons, desert mesas, and the forested highlands with the namesake buttes.
The land is sacred to many Native American tribes. With so many historical artifacts we must "tread lightly" on these ancestral homelands.
