“There is a quiet time when the sky is soft.  Stillness in the air creates a sense of calm.  No turbulent winds or bright light of day.  A pause between seasons. One legend has it: “ A horse and a boy had died in these mountains.  The family buried the horse on the mountain and the boy in the Monticello cemetery.  The horse keeps watch over the little boy in the cemetery.”  There is another legend, but that is another painting to come.
